09 Sep Extreme Networks Co-Delivery: Kappa Data Supports Partners at Every Stage of Their Projects
The success of a network project does not depend solely on the quality of the technology being deployed. It also relies on the ability to design the right architecture, manage its implementation and provide the customer with effective long-term support.
With the evolution of Extreme Networks’ services programme and the transition from PartnerWorks to the Co-Delivery model, partners wishing to provide their own support services must now meet enhanced requirements regarding certifications, technical expertise and infrastructure.
For resellers that do not wish to make this investment immediately, Kappa Data provides a practical solution: access to the expertise of a Co-Delivery-certified distributor, enabling them to continue offering high-value services around Extreme Networks solutions.
From PartnerWorks to Co-Delivery: what has changed?
The Co-Delivery programme allows a qualified partner to provide Level 1 and Level 2 customer support while relying on the expertise of the Extreme Networks GTAC team for Level 3 escalations.
This model offers several benefits:
- the ability to build and brand their own service offering
- greater control over the customer relationship
- recurring revenue opportunities around support services
- access to dedicated SKUs and preferential commercial terms
- stronger customer retention through local support
Access to the Co-Delivery programme, however, requires partners to have the necessary certifications, technical resources, lab equipment and organisation to deliver the initial levels of support effectively.
Former PartnerWorks partners that have not made these investments can therefore no longer directly benefit from all the advantages previously associated with their status.
This does not mean that they must stop offering such services.
Kappa Data’s Co-Delivery expertise at the service of resellers
Kappa Data was the first pan-European distributor to achieve Co-Delivery certification across six key Extreme Networks technology tracks:
- Extreme Fabric
- Extreme Switching
- ExtremeWireless Cloud
- ExtremeCloud IQ Controller
- ExtremeCloud IQ – Site Engine
- Extreme Control
This particularly broad coverage enables our partners to rely on a team with the expertise and technical environments required to support them across almost all of Extreme Networks’ main architectures.
Resellers that are not themselves Co-Delivery certified can therefore incorporate Kappa Data’s expertise into their own service model. They can provide their customers with local assistance, access preferential commercial terms and rely on Kappa Data to deliver the technical support covered by the Co-Delivery model.
The reseller retains ownership of the commercial relationship with its customer while surrounding itself with the resources needed to secure the design, deployment and support of the project.
This approach is particularly relevant for:
- former PartnerWorks partners that have not yet invested in their own Co-Delivery certification
- partners wishing to develop their expertise progressively before considering certification themselves
- resellers that previously worked with another PartnerWorks distributor that has chosen not to invest in the new programme
- integrators wishing to respond to an Extreme Networks opportunity without immediately having all the required expertise in-house
- new partners wishing to explore the Extreme Networks portfolio while limiting the risks associated with acquiring new technical skills
Much more than a support provider
Kappa Data’s involvement is not limited to incident management.
Our teams can provide assistance upstream and throughout the project lifecycle: solution identification, technical qualification, design assistance, architecture validation, deployment support, knowledge transfer and ongoing support.
Kappa Data is also an Extreme Networks Authorized Training Partner – ATP. In France, our training organisation holds Qualiopi certification.
Partners can therefore rely on a single point of contact to develop their commercial opportunities, secure their first projects and progressively strengthen the expertise of their teams.
This combination of distribution, technical expertise, Co-Delivery services and training is a genuine accelerator for partners wishing to build a sustainable Extreme Networks business.
Embracing Extreme Networks technologies without being on your own
Adding a new vendor to a portfolio can create a valuable opportunity for differentiation, but it can also raise several questions. How do you identify the right projects? How do you design your first architecture? Which skills need to be developed? How will you support the customer after deployment?
With Kappa Data, partners do not have to approach these technologies alone.
They can rely on an experienced team to address the differentiated solutions of a globally recognised vendor, including:
- Extreme Fabric, designed to simplify, secure and automate network operations;
- Extreme Platform ONE, which unifies the management, operation and observability of network environments;
- Extreme Platform ONE Security, designed to apply consistent and secure access policies to users and devices;
- Extreme Networks switching, Wi-Fi, network access control and centralised management solutions
The aim is not simply to help partners add another product range to their portfolio. It is to give them the means to build a coherent offering, defend their proposal with confidence and increase their chances of winning the project.
An opportunity for established partners and new entrants alike
Kappa Data’s Co-Delivery model provides continuity for former PartnerWorks partners wishing to preserve their ability to offer services under competitive commercial conditions.
It also opens the door to new partners considering Extreme Networks but still hesitant to invest independently in all the required capabilities.
By working with Kappa Data, they can begin developing their business, immediately benefit from a structured technical environment and organise their skills development in line with their ambitions.
