You can ask questions about network security, IT security, LANCOM R&S Unified Firewalls, access points, WLAN controllers, Wi-Fi network planning, troubleshooting, and even their routers and SD-WAN gateways.\u00a0It accesses the LANCOM Knowledge Base<\/strong>\u00a0(which is a huge database of support articles, troubleshooting guides and many more).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The chatbots are currently in\u00a0beta phase<\/strong>. This means that incomplete or incorrect answers may occur and are part of the learning process. To improve the response quality, the\u00a0AI trainers rely on your feedback<\/strong>. So don\u2019t hesitate to use the anonymous thumbs-up or star rating in the chat or the feedback form to share your feedback directly with LANCOM.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Data Protection and European Digital Sovereignty<\/h3>\n

As always,\u00a0LANCOM cares about data protection and data sovereignty<\/strong>. The chat histories are stored for up to three months without any conclusions being drawn about the user. The questions on quality improvement are evaluated anonymously by their employees who specialize in AI training.<\/p>\n

For the solution, LANCOM relies on a provider with a platform developed in Europe, including secure data processing and exclusive use of European cloud providers. The large language model (LLM) used is ChatGPT-4o mini, hosted in Europe (MS Azure).<\/p>\n

The solution provider is a member of the German KI Bundesverband, a dedicated community of companies and experts committed to the future of artificial intelligence in Europe. The association aims to promote AI technology in line with European values and democratic principles and to ensure digital sovereignty in Europe.<\/p>\n

The chatbot is mainly optimized for English, but also speaks German and French, among others.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
