Principle:<\/p>\n

Combine two authentication factors to prove your identity:
\n\u2713 Something you know (your password)
\n\u2713 Something you own (your phone, for example)<\/p>\n

The password generated is a time-based one-time password (TOTP), as described in RFC 6238.<\/p>\n

A master secret is generated for each user, and single-use passwords are derived from it.
