Traditional Approach<\/h2>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]In recent years we have implemented a large number of different connectivity and security solutions in our business environment. For each piece in our connectivity or security jigsaw, we have almost always sought out the best solution on the market. As a result, we have quickly found ourselves having to evaluate, purchase, manage, maintain and support many ad hoc solutions. Even in a small environment, you’ll soon acquire a next-generation firewall, a remote access solution, a secure web gateway and most likely a few other stand-alone solutions.<\/p>\n

And when you have lots of locations, you\u2019ll add the complexity (and not to mention cost) of a MPLS solution on top. In the best-case scenario, there is a SD-WAN solution in place, which is now another point solution that must be managed and maintained.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Another consideration that must be taken into account is that traditional solutions need be purchased up front. This means that the hardware of virtual resources that you purchase today need to be scaled up, so they\u2019ll still be relevant in 3-to-4-year time.
